EARLY START

1955 - 1965

The Royal College Of ArT 1955 - 1960

At twelve years old Jonathan Kenworthy divided his life between Kingston Grammar School and the Royal College of Art under the tutelage of Professor John Skeaping.

He spent two years at Wimbledon Art School before going on the Royal Academy Schools.

The Royal Academy 1960 - 1964

He won the gold medal and travelling scholarship in November 1964 with his carving of a lynx and wolf which enabled him to head to East Africa on the start of a lifetime of safaris and study tours.
